Sea of Sorrow

Another sleepless night in the casement of my home
wingless crash of light spilling from the still unknown
falling ever faster towards a bottom you can't see
darkness encompasing all of which you thought was memory
but thought is just a plan to tell you where to be
and feelings are a place to hold you ever to your knees
singing songs of praises to your idol and your king
praying for salvation from a demon in your dreams
hate consumes your spirit till your shaking like a tree
blowing in the autumn wind waiting for the freeze
and when the winter comes it will burn like heated stone
scarring every nerve that with pleasure made you moan
and pleasure you shall have when the bodies sink alone
drifting in the pool..and rotting to the bone
